Mr. Praveen Mata is a Senior Vice President and Head of Information Technology at CCIL.

Mr. Praveen Mata is Head of Information Technology. He has been with the company since April 2004. He has over 35+ years of varied IT experience in leading and overseeing professional teams (in-house & outsourced) for custom build application software development, managing computing platforms, databases, data networks to ensure high uptime for business operations, vendors contract management, BCP/DR planning and operations. He has successfully delivered projects in both ‘Run the Company and ‘Change the Company’ functions in tactical and strategist roles.

He represented CCIL in various industry forums related to technology solutions for payment systems. His key interest areas include Application software solution design/implementation, BCP/DR planning, new technology adoption in the payment systems, Blockchain/DTL solutions, etc.  

Prior to joining CCIL, he has worked with IDBI/SIDBI and IDBI Intech Pvt. Ltd.

He is a postgraduate in Mathematics & Computer Science and an alumnus of Delhi University and Jamia Milia Islamia University.
