About us

Mr. S. Vishvanathan is an Independent Director of CCIL since August 2019.     

He has over 37 years of Banking experience with the State Bank of India (SBI). Mr. S Vishvanathan retired as the Managing Director & GE (Associates & Subsidiaries) of SBI. He has served at SBI in several important capacities, including an assignment in the New York Branch and stints as the Deputy Managing Director (Mid Corporate), Regional Manager and Deputy General Manager in the Delhi Circle and as General Manager (Global Markets). He has also served as the Managing Director and CEO of SBI Capital Markets Limited (SBICAP).

He has a Master’s of Science degree in Physics and has completed his Masters of Business Administration and has a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB) qualification.
